When shopping for a lawnmower some things that should always be considered are as follows:
- The size of the lawn
- The type of terrain of your property
- Who will be using the lawnmower
- What features you want (sit or push mower)
When purchasing a lawnmower there are a lot of different varieties to choose from as some of these mowers have more features compared to others such front wheel drive options or adjustable blade options. It all depends on what your requirements are and what your budget allows.
There are three different types of lawnmowers that are available in the market and they are as follows:
The manual reel lawnmower
The manual reel lawnmower is ideal for a lawn that has a flat terrain plus is less than ¼ acres. The points that should be considered while purchasing the manual reel lawnmower are that it has a manual push operation system. It is very cheap in price and very economical for most homeowners. It doesn’t have too many features compared to the other type of lawnmowers. Some of the benefits of the manual reel lawnmower that should be considered while purchasing are that it has a low maintenance cost plus has no pollutants.
The Gas Lawnmower
The second type of lawnmower is the gas lawnmower which runs on gas and is ideal for both small and large terrains which is about ½ acres. It doesn’t matter if it’s uneven or flat. The gas lawnmower does require periodic maintenance but at the same time can handle thick grass.
The Electrical Lawnmower
The third and final type of lawnmower is the electrical lawnmower which is perfect for lawns who have less than 1/3 acres and has a flat terrain. One of the features of an electric mower is that it can be self-propelled which makes it easier to mow your lawn. Some of them also have a narrower cutting swath and are very easy to handle. They also do not have any emissions.
